Practice\u201d, <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Mykhailo Boichuk Kyiv State Academy of Decorative Applied Arts and Design.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Announces call for papers (Edition I)<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Scientific journal \u201cDesign: Research. Theory. Practice\u201d (\u201cDesign: Research. Theory. Practice\u201d) is a peer-reviewed edition with open access, publishes thorough research in the field of design, patterns and trends of its development in Ukraine, integration processes in the context of Ukrainian and world experience. The journal aims to present various points of view in rethinking the understanding of design, its conceptual and strategic forms, design practices, realizing the importance of dynamic relationships between design and numerous spheres of human life, its role in transforming public space, apprehension of its role in transforming public space, creating multiple systems and artifacts in it.\u00a0 The objectives of the journal are to promote the development of new methods of art history research in the interdisciplinary field of design; to establish links between research, theory, practice and art education; to introduce new data on high-tech technologies in design, to highlight knowledge about the latest artistic practices in this field, their aesthetic, cultural and social dimensions, to investigate the problems of the universal design within the context of the cultural diversity and globalization. The peer-reviewed journal publishes scientific articles of an interdisciplinary nature that have not previously been published. Articles are credited by specialties \u2013 022 (\u201cdesign\u201d), 023 (\u201cfine arts, decorative arts, restoration\u201d), 26.00.01 (\u201ctheory and history of culture\u201d), 034 (\u201ccultural studies\u201d), 027 (\u201cmuseum studies, cultural heritage studies\u201d).<\/p>\n<p>The journal is published twice a year, accepts articles in Ukrainian, English, Polish, French, German languages, papers should be submitted by letter with an attached file to e-mail: <a href=\"mailto:design_research@kdidpmid.edu\">design_research@kdidpmid.edu<\/a>.ua. For the publication of articles, a continuous model is used, which stipulates receiving the text, reviewing, editing, preparing for publication on the page of a certain issue of the journal in the \"open access\" and \u00a0the final version of the article is presented in PDF format, the order of citations is determined by the assigned DOI. The continuous model provides the fast publication of proven research, which is useful for scientists, young researchers, for all those, who are interested by above mentioned scope of the science perspective studies interested readers; such model is effective for the citations in new research papers.<\/p>\n<p>The journal publishes original research papers and aims to form a compendium of knowledge about design in many disciplines, to contribute to the activation of scientific discourse between different professional communities.
