Graphic design is a type of modern art, which consists in creating graphic

objects for printing (advertising, posters, book and magazine graphics,

packaging, infographics) and the formation of a visual environment of societyin general (corporate style, heraldry, symbolism, design of

exhibition and museum expositions, etc.).

graphic design".

The lecturers of Graphic Design Department prepared hundreds

of graduates who found their place in the labour market of Ukraine and

abroad. The best students are enrolled for master's programs.The graduates of the

department are graphic designers that are in demand in the labour market

and successfully continue their professional creative activity.

The Department of Graphic Design of  Kyiv  State Academy of Decorative-

Applied Arts and Design was founded in 2001.
