Industrial Design and Information Technologies

The department provides scientific support for the design of industrial products, prepares bachelors and masters (full-time and part-time education, specialty 022 Design, specialization Industrial design).

The subjects of bachelor's and master's qualification works include substantiation of principles and implementation of practical design (including layout in materials  and computer modeling) of the following groups of objects:

• household appliances;
• motor transport and other kinds;
• exterior and interior design;
• elements of the urban environment;
• furniture and equipment (including medical equipment and various kinds of transformers);

In recent years, the emphasis has been placed on the development of relevant vehicles (unmanned taxis, civilian pilotless aerial vehicles), the design of weapons and military equipment, inclusive design for the disabled people, the use of energy-saving, “green” and smart technologies with elements of artificial intelligence.
